The Dr. Gerald and Marion Marks Award in Pharmacology and Human Toxicology Endowment Fund

Established in honour of Gerald Marks, former Head of the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, and Marion Marks. Awarded to the M.Sc. or Ph.D. graduate student deemed to have had the best thesis in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology.

The Dr. Gillian Gilchrist Chair in Palliative Care Research

Established by Dr. Hak Ming Chiu and Deborah Chiu in honour of Dr. Gillian Gilchrist to fund a prestigious faculty position in palliative care research in Queen's School of Medicine, who will also be a member of the privileged staff of Lakeridge Health.

The Dr. Gladys R. Munnings Bursary

Established by Gladys R. Munnings, BAH'32, LLD'76. Awarded to a student of promising ability in the third or fourth year of an honours program in the Faculty of Arts and Science. Preference will be given to a woman student who is in financial need.

The Dr. H. Martyn Estall Graduate Award in Philosophy

Established in memory of Dr. H. Martyn Estall. Awarded on the basis of academic achievement to assist graduate students in the Department of Philosophy to attend a significant conference.

The Dr. Harold Latham Award in Family Medicine

Established by the Latham family to provide an annual award to a postgraduate student to support an academic project judged to be the best quality dealing with mental health issues in Family Medicine.

The Dr. Heather F. Clarke Nursing Bursary

Established by Heather Clarke, BNSc'66. Awarded on the basis of financial need to students in the School of Nursing with preference given to Canadian Indigenous students (First Nations, Inuit or Metis).

The Dr. Henry B. Dinsdale Visiting Lectureship

Established in honour of Dr. Henry B. Dinsdale, MD'55, to support the costs associated with bringing prominent speakers on topics related to neurological diseases or medical leadership to the Department of Medicine.

The Dr. Ian Maxwell Gourley Prize

Established by Mrs. B.S. McPhee of Vankleek Hill, Ontario, in honour of Ian Maxwell Gourley, MD, CM, Queen's 1931. Awarded annually to the student who attains the highest standing in Paediatrics.

The Dr. J. Charles Millar Medical Bursary

Established by a bequest from the Estates of Anne Millar and Donald Gutteridge. Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need to undergraduate students entering first year of the School of Medicine.

The Dr. J. Garfield and Ann Purdon Endowment Fund

Established to support the acquisition of state-of-the-art equipment and innovative educational technologies that will enhance teaching and research in the Department of Chemistry.
