Faculty of Law

Queen’s Law is known as one of Canada’s top law schools, with strengths spanning criminal and family law to corporate and trade.  Alumni stay connected to the community, helping to sustain and strengthen it for future generations.

The story of this place stretches back to the mid-1800s, though the modern law school opened in 1957. All along, it’s kept pushing the boundaries of legal education, blending strong scholarship with hands-on training that gets students ready to lead in law and beyond.

Generosity has shown up throughout that history in mentorships, placements and exchanges, and much more. That shared commitment lets students see how everything connects and how their work shapes people’s lives every day.
