Established by Morrison Hurley, in memory of his parents, Margaret & Robert Hurley. Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need and academic achievement to students entering first year of a Bachelor of Applied Science in Smith Engineering.

Established by Dr. Peter Shedden, M.D. 1986, in honour of his parents Margaret and William Shedden. Awarded on the basis of academic excellence to students entering first year in the School of Medicine in the Faculty of Health Sciences.
