The Baillie Family Chair in Conservation Biology
The Baillie Family Chair will be linked permanently with the University Biological Station (QUBS). Its purpose to strengthen research in conservation and biodiversity and to augment and reinforce teaching programs in the Department of Biology.
The Bain Family Equipment Fund
Established by Thomas Bain, BSc(Eng)'65, to support the on-going equipment needs in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in Smith Engineering to provide up-to-date technical equipment in the Bain Family Computing Laboratory.
The Baja SAE Design Team
Funds provide undergraduate students in Mechanical and Materials Engineering in Smith Engineering the opportunity to design and build an off-road vehicle, travel to competitions and conferences, and participate in educational outreach activities.
The Baker & McKenzie LLP Fellowship
Established by Baker & McKenzie LLP to provide support for the full range of fellowships, including senior, postdoctoral, research, and visiting fellows in the Centre for Law in the Contemporary Workplace.
The Bala Family Law Bursary
Established by an anonymous donor for students in financial need in any year of the J.D. program or combined J.D. degree program in the Faculty of Law. Preference will be given to students with an interest in family law.
The Ballik Indigenous Bursary
Established Dr. Edward A. Ballik and Woon-Ngor Ballik. Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need to Indigenous students in any year of any Faculty or School at Queen's University.
The Bamji Art Conservation Award
Established by Pervez (Perry) and Annamaria Bamji, B.A. 1998, to assist with the costs associated with international travel, for a graduate student in the Art Conservation Program.
The Bamji International Practicum Placement Award
Established by Perry and Annamaria Bamji. Awarded on the basis of financial need and academic achievement to a final year Concurrent Education student, wishing to broaden his/her studies in the international environment through an alternative placement.
