The Roger Graham Fellowship in Modern Canadian History
A fellowship endowed by Mrs. Kathleen Graham, awarded annually on the recommendation of the Department of History to an incoming graduate student who will be specializing in modern Canadian history in the Department of History.
The Rolf Lund Award
Established in memory of Rolf Lund. Awarded to a full-time upper-year student on the basis of financial need and at least a B standing, who has completed a minimum of one full year with the Track and Field and/or Cross Country team.
The Romans Memorial Fund
Established in memory of a Medicine 1973 graduate, to support the Surgical Skills and Technology Elective Program. Should the program cease to exist, the fund will be used to support a faculty- or student-initiated program that is substantially similar.
The Ronald and Deanna Biggs Entrance Award
Established by Ronald C. Biggs, B. Sc. (Eng) 1961 and Deanna E. Biggs. Awarded to a student entering the first-year program in Smith Engineering on the basis of financial need, academics and extra-curricular activities.
The Ronald L. Watts Memorial Fund
Established in memory of Principal Emeritus Ronald L. Watts. The fund will be used, under the aegis of the Institute of Intergovernmental Relations, to support student and faculty research focused on federalism and multilevel governance.
The Ronald M. Buttery Memorial Scholarship
Awarded each year to the student entering the third year of the Commerce program who has achieved the highest cumulative average in the compulsory courses in quantitative methods in the Smith School of Business.
The Rory MacDonald Memorial Bursary
Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need to students in any year of any undergraduate degree program. Preference will be given to students who have completed or are enrolled in one or more Creative Writing courses.
The Rosalind E. Bell Admission Scholarship
Established by Rosalind E. Vanderhoof (nee Bell), B.A. (Hons) 1981, MPA 1983, and awarded on the basis of academic achievement to students entering first year of a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in the Faculty of Arts and Science.
The Ross Kilpatrick Student Initiatives Fund
Established by Suzanne Kilpatrick and the Department of Classics to enable students to participate in projects that will provide educational opportunities outside the classroom and around the world.
