Funds raised through this program will directly support Athletic Financial Awards for the Rowing team.
The Rowing Booster Club
Funds raised by this club directly supports athletes, coaches, program development and equipment. Funds will be used at the discretion of the Executive Director of A&R in consultation with the Head Coach and Booster Club President.
The Royal Canadian Air Force WWII Award
Established by George Spicer Atkins, Arts'49, to honour volunteer airmen who died while serving with the RCAF during WW II, and to honour those who served and survived combat. Awarded to an Arts and Science student in the basis of need and academic merit.
The Ruby Cordy Award
Established by Ruby Cormier, BA'34, MA'42. Awarded on the basis of academic achievement and financial need to a full-time fourth year student completing a B.A.(Honours) program with a medial or major concentration in French Studies.
The Russell and Marjorie Kennedy Field Station Fund
Established by Russell Kennedy, B.Sc.(Eng) 1941, to be used at the discretion of the Head of the Department of Civil Engineering in Smith Engineering.
The Russell Everton Hutchinson Award
Awarded on the basis of academic achievement and demonstrated financial need to students entering first year of any undergraduate degree in Smith Engineering. Preference to students who self-identify as Black Canadians.
The Russell Family Entrance Scholarship
Established by Derek and Tina Russell in recognition of their three children, Derek, Comm'02, Katherine Comm'04, and Kristina, Comm'08. Awarded on the basis of academic merit to a student entering the Commerce program, with pref. to students from Quebec.
The Ruth Cordy Admission Bursary
Established by Ruth Cordy, BA'42, and awarded on the basis of financial need to students entering the first year of the Faculty of Arts and Science at Queen's University
The Ruth Dowling & William Young Principal's Discretionary Fund
Established by Ruth Dowling and William Young, B.Sc. (Chemical Engineering) 1977, to provide discretionary support for the Principal at Queen's University for various present and future needs.
The Ruth Harriet McKenzie Bursary
Established in memory of Ruth Harriet McKenzie. Awarded on the basis of financial need and academic achievement to students in any year of the Commerce program in the Smith School of Business. Extra-curricular activities will be considered.
