The Ruth Jerrett Memorial Award in Nursing

Established in memory of Ruth Jerrett, by her daughter Mary Jerrett, BN, MSc, EdD, and awarded to an undergrad student in the School of Nursing on the basis of financial need and a sound academic record. Preference will be given to third year students.

The Ruth Pattenden Fellowship in Interstitial Lung Disease

Established to provide financial support to an individual who wishes to develop special expertise in the diagnosis and management of interstitial lung diseases in the Interstitial Lung Disease Fellowship Program.

The Ruth Taylor Research Fund in Brain Disorders

Established by Doris Noftall, in memory of her sister Ruth Taylor, to enable a medical student(s) to pursue research during the summer toward the discovery of a cure for cancerous and non-cancerous disorders of the brain.

The Rutherford-Noel Family Award

Established in 2008 by Isobel Rutherford, MD'57, and awarded on the basis of need and academic achievement to students in any year of study in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Queen's. Preference will be given to students from Lambton County, Ontario.

The S. Mathwin Davis Memorial Award

Established in memory of S. Mathwin Davis, PhD'79, former Professor in the School of Policy Studies. Awarded on the basis of academic merit to a student interested in studying health policy and management, registered in a Masters of Public Administration

The Sadako and Michio Hayashi Award

Established in honour of Sadako and Michio Hayashi. Awarded to full-time students in financial need who maintain a satisfactory academic standing, and are registered in Smith Engineering.

The Sadr-Harvey Family Award

Established by Sasha Sadr, BSc (Eng) 2007, MBA 2008. Awarded on the basis of need and academic achievement to students entering first year of a Bachelor of Applied Science degree program in Smith Engineering. Preference will be given to women.

The Saleh Sassoon Mahlab Fund in Jewish Studies

Established by Naim S. Mahlab, BComm 1949, in honour of his father Saleh Sassoon Mahlab to fund a dialogue course on the inter-relationships between Judaism, Islam and Christianity.

The Samit & Reshma Sharma Graduate Scholarship in Education

Established by the Samit & Reshma Sharma Foundation. Awarded to graduate students based on academic achievement enrolled in any Faculty or School whose studies or research is focused in the area of Education.
