The Way Memorial Trust in Health Sciences

Established by a bequest from the estate of Beryl Way, the funds will be used to support research projects in the Faculty of Health Sciences that serve a practical purpose and show potential for substantive benefit to the pulic at large.

The Weidemann & Pitre Memorial Bursary

Established by Paul Weidemann, BA (Hons) 2008. Awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need to women students who have experienced an interruption in their formal education and who are registered in any Faculty or School.

The WEMA Trust Fund

WEMA Trust fund was established to provide additional funding for projects and initiatives conducted by Queen's University and WEMA Inc. which allows for community-based health providers in African countries to conduct cervical cancer screening programs.

The Wes and Dorletta Curran Memorial Award

Established in honour of Wes and Dorletta Curran. Awarded on the basis of financial need and academic excellence to a full-time student in an Honours program in Biology. Preference will be given to students planning to reside at QUBS.

The Wilda Parkinson Bursary

Established by Wilda Baker Parkinson and awarded on the basis of financial need to assist mature women students, especially in upper years.

The Wilfred Frederick Prachter Graduate Scholarship

Established by the Estate of Wilfred Frederick Prachter. Awarded on the basis of academic excellence to Masters or PhD students in Law. Preference will be given to students studying international or comparative law.

The Willard G. Henry Memorial Scholarship in Metallurgical Engineering

Established in honour of Willard Geldard Henry. Awarded to a student in 4th year of the Materials Option in Mechanical Engineering in Smith Engineering on the basis of scholarship, character, industry and contribution to the wellbeing of the student body.

The William & Catherine Hewitson Fund in Civil Engineering

Established in January 2008 through a bequest from the Estate of Catherine M. Hewitson to provide support for the Department of Civil Engineering in Smith Engineering, to be used at the discretion of the Department Head.

The William A. (Bill) Davis Bursary

Established in June 2008 by the Estate of William A. Davis, BSc(Eng.)'62, and awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need to students registered in Electrical Engineering in Smith Engineering.

The William and Patricia Sheets Memorial Entrance Bursary

Established by the estate of William and Patricia Sheets and awarded on the basis of financial need to students entering the first year in the Faculty of Arts and Science, with preference given to students in the Bachelor of Fine Arts program.
