The William Angus Award in Drama

Established by the Faculty Players of Queen's University in honour of Dr. William Angus. Awarded to the student who has made the most significant contribution during the academic year to the Drama program at the DAN School of Drama and Music.

The William C. Brown Research Fund

Established to provide annual investment income to be used by the Queen's University Biological Station for research in the environment, allowing the QUBS to build on existing strength by supporting research in ecology and conservation biology.

The William C. Leggett Graduate Fellowship

Established in honour of William C. Leggett. Awarded on the basis of academic achievement to a doctoral student with preference for those enrolled in a doctoral program in English, History, Philosophy or Cultural Studies at Queen's University.

The William Coombs Baker Memorial Scholarship

Founded by graduates in memory of William Coombs Baker, formerly the Robert Waddell Professor of Experimental Physics. The is prize in books approved by the Department of Physics. Awarded annually to the student with the highest standing in PHYS 104.

The William E. Miklas Memorial Award

Established in memory of William E. Miklas, B.A. 1963, MBA 1965. Awarded to second-, third-, or fourth-year Commerce students enrolled full-time in the Smith School of Business who are student-athletes on an intercollegiate sports at Queen's.

The William E. O'Hara Postgraduate Bursary

Established by a bequest from the estate of William E. O'Hara, MD'46, and awarded on the basis of financial need to residents registered in a postgraduate medical education program in the School of Medicine in the Faculty of Health Sciences.

The William E. O'Hara Undergraduate Medicine Bursary

Established in Nov. 2002 by a bequest from the estate of William E. O'Hara, MD 1946, and awarded on the basis of financial need to students registered in second, third, or fourth year in the School of Medicine in the Faculty of Health Sciences.

The William Ersil Memorial Award

Established by Donald Chow, Meds '81, in memory of William Ersil, Meds '79. Awarded to a resident in the orthopaedic training program for the orthopaedic research paper judged to be the best in terms of originality and content each year.

The William G. Lynn Entrance Bursary in Applied Science

Established in memory of William G. Lynn, founder of Continental Conveyor companies and Thetford Mines and a proud supporter of Canadian engineering and business education. Awarded on the basis of need to a student entering first year Smith Engineering.

The William H. Boyd Memorial Award for Neurological Research

Established in January 2002 by a bequest from the estate of William H. Boyd, Ph.D. 1962, the fund is to be used by a medical doctor for research in Neurological Diseases, and is not limited to the support of personnel or equipment.
