Bader College

Bader College, located at Herstmonceux Castle in East Sussex, England, represents a fusion of history and innovation. The setting may be an idyllic 15th century castle, but our focus is solely on developing students who are prepared to lead in the 21st century.

A Centre for Global Education and Innovation

Bader College courses will prepare you for the realities of a global future. Networks and processes will continue to define the 21st century. It is an era where people, money, and ideas, criss-cross the planet at dazzling speeds. Our networked world demands a new kind of citizen; one who is comfortable with diversity and the clash of ideas, a theorist and a doer. Our future well-being, perhaps even our very survival, depends on people who can think--and feel--globally.

An Unparalleled Experience

Small class sizes, integrated hands-on field studies, primary research-based projects, and a diverse faculty and student population set the foundation for innovative global learning at Bader College.

Expanding your Network

While at Bader College you will be transformed into a true global citizen. The connections you make with people from across Canada and all over the world will form the foundation of your own global network.

First Year Programs (Arts and Science)

The First-Year Arts Program and the First-Year Science Program at Bader College is the only program of its kind in Canada in which students spend a full year studying abroad. Academic data shows that on average, incoming students from Bader College achieve higher grades than their classmates in Kingston in subsequent years of their undergraduate education. Students in the First-Year Program are admitted to a full university degree program at Queen's University, completing their remaining years of undergraduate study at the Kingston campus.
